Ingredion Pharma Solutions presented its portfolio of functional materials for Pharma and Nutraceuticals, which includes binders for direct compression and wet granulation, fillers, film formers for veggie softgels, plasticizers, humectants, emulsifiers for encapsulation and Anhydrous dextrose used in injectable solutions. Furthermore, as a new feature, the company launched the superdisintegrants: FARMAL® CCS (Croscarmellose Sodium), FARMAL® SSG P and FARMAL® SSG C (Sodium Starch Glycolate potato and corn-based), the lubricant FARMAL® MGS (Magnesium Stearate) and new mannitol grades: Spray dried MANNITAB™ SD1 and MANNITAB™ SD2 and fine powder MANNITAB™ F1 and MANNITAB™ F2.
